I remember you..

All dressed up
In pretty blues & purples

Hair hanging on your shoulders,
Smelling of Lilac and innocence.

The gorgeous bend of your
Perfect smile.

Wanting nothing;
Free of everything;
Running through golden hills and
Kicking lilies

Visions of her smile,
Burnt images of her dark brown hair,
In the wind
Whistling in the background,
Playing a soft medley,
Cradling my awkwardly innocent soul.

I remember you

I called you god

Ran after you,
Sought comfort within you,
Tasted your rivers of milk & honey

Running through golden hills and
Kicking lilies
Mind empty of permanence
Incapable of valuing
Anything of value
Ignorant to the fact
That such a system exist

I can still remember this..
Like it was yesterday
The way we danced
The beauty that a moment
Can provide..

When we were young and alive
